Matilda Mk. II – Photo gallery

In this photo gallery you can admire the peculiar camouflage I chose to paint for this British Matilda Mk. II tank.

The 16th model I completed, built from November 2015 to March 2016, represents a British infantry tank Matilda Mk II, used during the Second World War. It caught my attention mainly due to its unique camouflage pattern.

This post will explain briefly the story of the Matilda II, as it was commonly known the Infantry Tank Mk. II, a British tank of the Second World War. Mainly known for its heavy armour, it fought in France, North Africa, Pacific and in other minor theatres; the Soviets employed them in the Eastern Front, and so did the Germans as war prize.
