The 28th model I made represents a US-built M88 A1G armored recovery vehicle (ARV), operated by the German armed forces (Bundeswehr) under the designation Bergepanzer 1. It took approximately one year and 9 months to build, from September 2018 to late May 2020.
The Bergepanzer 1 is an armored recovery vehicle used by the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundeswehr). It is a variant of the American vehicle M88, which is in turn based on the chassis of the M48 and M60 combat tanks.
This jewel of German engineering has always been one of my favourite vehicles. So, when I saw this model during an expo, I bought it immediately! Thus, in this post I will show you the phases of assembling and painting of my model of Leopard 2A5.
The Leopard 2 – whose history I talk about in this post – is a German main battle tank, used by Germany as well as by several other countries. It is considered one of the best tanks of the world.
The 19th model I have finished is an armored vehicle used by the German armed forces until few years ago. It took me quite some time to complete it, from March 2014 to June 2016, because I could work on it only during my vacations. So here's to you the photo gallery of my Spähpanzer 2 Luchs!
