Some time after assembling this model of Semovente da 75/18, I decided to paint also the miniatures, that I had previously left in the box... and since I was there, I also built a small diorama!
This is my second Italian vehicle I built (the first one being the Ariete), from May to July 2015, as well as the 11th that I completed at all. It represents a self propelled gun used by the Italian Royal Army in the Second World War.
The Semovente da 75/18 (75/18 Self-Propelled [Gun]) was an Italian-built SPG used during the Second World War. It was one of the best tank destroyers employed by the Regio Esercito (Italian Royal Army), being one of the few able to destroy American-built M3 Lee/Grant and M4 Sherman medium tanks.
