SU-152 – Photo gallery

It took to me two years to finish this SU-152 model, since I worked on it during long holidays. Here’s its photo gallery!

This is the tenth model I completed, and it shows a SU-152 self-propelled artillery vehicle, in service under the Soviet Red Army during the Second World War. I built it from August 2013 to January 2015.

SU-152 – Weathering and details

The large and flat surfaces of this SU-152 model allow to experiment several interesting techniques of weathering.

I can work on this model only few weeks a year, but everytime I add always something new to it! This time I "weather" it in order to give it a more realistic look and I paint some additional details.

SU-152 – History

History of the SU-152, a Soviet heavy self-propelled howitzer used also in anti-tank role during the Second World War.

The SU-152, in Russian "СУ-152" (acronym of "Самоходная Установка 152", Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 152, that is "152 mm Self-Propelled Unit") was a heavy self-propelled howitzer used by the Soviet Red Army during the Second World War.
